Results, not rhetoric.
Daniel Basco, PhD is running for the Chicago Board of Education to support every student in District 2B through policy analysis, systems thinking, and a fiercely independent voice.
A data scientist & researcher running for our schools
Dr. Basco is a Chicago-based data, research, and policy executive with more than 15 years of experience across education, philanthropy, and public systems. He began his career supporting the Obama White House, then worked with state and local governments and education institutions across the country broadening access to higher education and improving college completion rates for underserved students.
For Daniel, education isn't abstract. It's deeply personal and the primary engine of upward mobility in this country.
For the first time, voters will elect every seat on the Chicago Board of Education. Daniel is running because this moment demands a voice unaffiliated and beholden to no political machine. He will add data expertise and systems thinking that delivers results, not rhetoric.
The neighborhoods Daniel will serve
